It may not be counted in some colleges as they look for A* to C? Try and retake i think

If your doing foundation, thats really good, its also good for a higher paper too :) I don't think its a fail I would class an F and downwards a fail

I don't think there was a higher/lower paper for history. It was WJEC. Basically there are 3 papers for the exam. One is Nazi Germany, one is Elizabethan Age, and one is USA (which is three units) and Coursework/Controlled Assesment. I did good in all of them apart from the USA one, as I got a G?!?! So my overall was D even though I passed my other ones.. :(

There is no foundation or higher for history.

Can you resit the G, because that would improve your grade so that you get a C or above.

I probably would try to resit but I can't because my other options are full.. But im sick of it anyway. Does anyone know whether you need an EBACC for college/sixth form?

You dont need an EBACC qualification but, it looks good if you have one :) Because a lot of uni's and colleges want students who have a language qualification :)

It depends if you want to take it for a-level or not, if you're not then don't worry about it but if you feel that you can do better in your history GCSE then you should re-take
