Emm...Text books can be very helpful! You can also check out my resources XD

But the website below is really good for revising the Medicine unit - I did the exam last year and it helped me a lot!

Just do lots of revision and watch video clips on YouTube about the different areas - BBC makes a lot of videos but you''ll have to look for them.

This video is really good - the other videos uploaded by that person is very helpful too!

But really you'll have to ask your teacher to give you past questions and mark them for you - that's what my teacher did.

Oh, I'm not finished yet in History. I got an A in that unit, but I've still got the Nazi Germany exam to come :(.... Nope, sorry - they're the only two I did/going to do.

You're welcome :D I'm glad it helped~

I do medicine through time OCR. To answer paper one questions you basically have to remember to answer the question in the first sentance, write a balenced answer, don't just describe, explain, and write a conclusion. This advice is usually for the question c on the paper which have 8 marks and ask you to make a valid judgement on a statement, something like, who is more important, galen or hippocrates?. To get full marks on this question say why galen was important then hippocrates and then what you think in the conclusion. (if you don't do a conclusion, but have a balenced answer you will get about 6 marks).

for the question b(7 marks) just explain, don't worry about a balenced answer

for question a (5 marks) just describe

question a and b are about your factual knowledge, c you have to make a valid judgement about a statement, saying your opinion but explaining it showing both sides of the arguement.

hope this helps, I'm doing my exam in just over a months time so this was good revision for me also.
