I always learned aimer was to like example:  J'aime jouer du piano - i like to play piano and adorer was to love: J'adore jouer du piano - i love to play piano. But when I found out how to say i love you, I was a little confused as it is - je t'aime. Why isn't it - je t'adore?

Explain please, b gr8 help

p.s soz if there are mistakes Im not doing gcse french - just curious.

In general, aimer is to like, and adorer is to love, but, like the one you named above, there are a few exceptions.
