Is A2 chemistry really difficult?

I am currently doing AS level chemistry (edexcel) and I got an A in my unit 1 exam. I wondered whether A2 is really difficult and will I be able to do it?

Also how much harder is it than AS?

I am an A2 chem edexcel student - i got an A for my AS. It is harder but not to big of a step up as the topics are far more interesting and engaging. The one this i would say is that the pracatical assesments are harder as each mark is worth more UMS. Hope this helps - i have some A2 resources up if you wanted to check out some the topics _ congrats on your A :D hope that helps!

Thank you that does really help. I know it sounds stupid cause I got an A but I didn't know whether I would be able to cope with A2. I think I might keep doing it now. Thanks

I'm doing A2 AQA and I agree that it is much harder. Unit 4 is quite fun once you get the hang of acids and bases - it helps to find as many past questions as possible on them so that you know what can come up, (I just got an a in january). Unit 5 I'm doing now and it's really boring b/c it's all memorisation but it's not too difficult. You should definitely carry on - I've seen your resources and they're amazing! :-)
