In the Weimar republic history GCSE papers, are there many source based questions or are they written answers from knowledge?

I have a lot of History exams as I have been in hospital for ages and I've missed a lot of the exams. I  am pretty much prepared for most of them accept the Weimar Republic one; so I was wondering if it was more source based questions or written knowledge questions

Any feedback would be much appreciated,

Thanks

In the board I do (OCR B) there are a couple of source questions (1 or 2) but mostly questions are written knowlegde questions worth 4, 6 or 10 marks

yes there is some sourced based questions, generally two sources and it may say 'how useful is source b for showing the impact of the wall street crash' so you would answer by looking at source b and seeing what you can pick from it. as a general tip you could talk about if it seems to be biased or not and if the source is an image, a image can not be baised, where as an article written about Hitler by one of the Nazi party members may be biased towards Hitler and an article written by one of the spd may be baised against Hitler.

there is also some interpretation questions, such as how far do you agree with interpretation two about Hitlers rise to power use both interpretations

hope this helps ;D
