The only real way, in my opinion to improve in D1 is to practise a lot of questions to get the hang of the algorithms.

My revision tips are not great but may provide some use :
Get the hang off linear programming (drawing) by practising questions.
simplex method needs to be in your head 24/7.
for the algorithms, i'm afraid dijkstra's kruskal's and prims are the only ones i remember and it is important that you get past paper practice.
By the way, when people say D1 was easy, they mean in the way that the topics are not difficult but I gotta warn you Decision papers accumulate the highest percentage of pupils not finishing the paper in time so time every past paper you do and speed up your thinking.
The last tip from me is that you may want to start drinking coffee. :)

Hey Mr Hegarty! Just wanted to thank you for making all those youtube videos for OCR Maths/Further Maths. I had my D1 exam last month and used all your videos, they were really helpful :) Please make more videos for OCR maths/further maths espicially on FP1,M1,C2 and S1. Thanks once again!
