With questions relating to specific cases it is important to apply what you know about the topic to the person, its easily done you just have to say this will help (the name of the person)then carry on with your explanations of the topic :) hope this helps

You need to contextualise which means rememebering to talk about the example given in the question and then apply to the method the question is referring to. this is where a lot of students lose marks

when it comes to revising studies, it's good to write out flash cards including the following:

  • name of study
  • aim
  • method
  • results
  • conclusion
  • strengths
  • weaknesses

this would help you memorise each study and know when to use them, usually answering a 6 mark question.

Doing practice questions as well is beneficial becasue you can then get teachers to check them and they can tell you where you are going wrong.

one thing i have learnt for when you are describing a study is to make sure you include a sentence to say what the study tells you and make this obvious so start the sentence off like "this shows that..." this shows you understand the study more and will get you those higher marks doesn't need to be long though just a sentence or two

If the question requires AO2, remember to include supporting research ((studies)) and evaluate them....

What kind of 6 mark questions do you need help on?

I'm struggling to answer questions regarding stress, when the question gives you a problem and asks you to help provide a solution to the problem for example one may have issues with health problems and decides to try CBT to manage her stress...
