Put away your phone and anything where you have internet access...and then when you have the break that Estell suggested...use that break to catch up on the lastest goss onFacebook/Twitter...hope it helps!

I know it doesn't sound right but go to a library. Then you will be force to work as it is quite and there is hardly any distractions for you. Plus if you need to research something your in a library so you can look up stuff for whatever subject your doing it helped me a lot.

ok you need to break down your revision: revise for 45 mints then take 10 mints of break then go back to revising: just focus on revising that is what you should be telling your brain then other things you can do then later :D .....HOPE IT HELPED

I always try and think of what will happen after the exam. Tell yourself that good things will happen afterwards and your mind will automatically want to carry on! Futhermore, the time goes by so fast you will have got yourself through the torture and will be ready to stop revising and go back to normal xxxxxx

Try turning of all distractions including the computer and going to a quite place like your bedroom and revising there from your school books this might help because it means you are focused without the temptation :)

Hope this helps

Cover your ears with earmuffs or throw out things like clocks in other peoples bedrooms this could help because then you will not have the sensitive sounds that annoy you. You may also try asking family members to cooperate and read while you are doing your work this means that you wont have distractions like that any more. Another thing on family if you cant revise on your own ask a family member to help you by asking questions from cards revision cards etc.

Hope this helps

Listen to slow soft music without lyrics, turn off your phone, make sure your desk is clear, with only the books that you need for the subject you're revising. I find that this way helps me, a lot. I get distracted quite easily as well, but once I focus, I block out everything else.

this will sound really stupid but find a really good 10 minute long yoga video on youtube or something, do as it says and then after you feel totally focused! and don't worry about feeling stupid because nobody can see you and you never have to tell anyone :) i find it really useful and its only 10 minutes out of a whole day

Plug in some music, find a room away from the rest of the house ( I use my conservatory) and promise yourself a coffee break after 30 mins or so. If you get into revision and really are in the zone, keep going! This really works for me. If you make revision as fun as possible, e.g. colours, walking around, reciting etc, then you're less likely to get bored and be distracted! Hope this helps.

If you're revising in your bedroom, and have things like games console, computer, TV, etc, ask your parents to unplug them and take away necessary components to those. This way, you don't get distracted.

Just have lots of breaks at first but as you get better at concentrating, have less breaks- but still a break every 45 minutes like Estell said. hope this helps!

Cheers... this is distracting me! :D

It would be useful to do what people above have said - I especially agree with the one suggesting to go to a library. Good luck!

You could also try exercising more (unless you do loads already) I find that after I do some dance or karate practise, I feel more focused. Also give you phone or whatever to your parents if you need to. Don't use the Internet unless you desperately need it, and in those cases, you'll just have to maintain self control. Just remember, don't keep looking at the line and be like 'oh it's 4:32, I'll leave at 4:35.' and then next time you look it's 4:38 so you leave it until 4:40. Cuz I always do this wastes time.
