Human populations exam question help!?

Probably a really simple calculation but I can't seem to work out the answer...

From the BIO 4 2014 paper;

It gives you the total population in 2010 in Italy = 60.2mil
Birth rate per 1000= 9.3
Death rate per 1000= 9.7

The question is, calculate the size of the population in Italy in 2011

Thanks for any help :)

You would do

9.7-9.3=0.4

then (602,000,000x0.4)/ 1000=Your value

Then do 602,000,000-Your value

Sorry ive not got a calc on me but hope that make sense?

p.s if you are asked to calc tot population in the year before so for 2009 for example instead of adding 'your value' you would minus it :)
