Uhmm, I recommend learning phrases and vocabulary words (flashcards are your best bet)

Also, ask your teacher for help, and discuss the situation..

If you're so certain that you're going to fail, then you probably shouldn't be taking the exam anyway..

Good luck (:

It depends at what level you are learning I find, because at GCSE it is good to learn the vocabulary needed and get to grips with the basic grammar making sure you learn how to talk in the past present and future because that will get you a higher grade. However at A level I think it's best build your grammar skills so you have a better understanding of the language as a whole rather than learning lots of new vocabulary. Also just speak it as much as you can, just try talking to your family in french for a day, even if they don't understand because the more you do it the better you will get :

Hope this helps :) Good Luck :)

Collins have released an alternative way to learn a new language in two days inc French they have an Ipod download( but this wills set you back 20 quid).

Otherwise remember that language is a progressive thing - you can't cram it all in one day so make an effort to learn new vocab a week or watch french films and visit french websites such as ( for french teens) and it will come naturally. I found learning french not too hard because I have quite a wide english vocab and don't forget the two are linked ( either from  latin or greek) so read books like Jane Eyre ( it might as well be french) if it will help!!

Good luck!!

P.S I find sticking postitnotes around the house with the corresponding item helps alot  for visual memory!!
