I have some mocks coming up for French, and I have no idea how to revise. I don't know what topics will be on them, so I need to learn a bit of everything. I just dont know how to! Please help!
Is it a writing/speaking/listening or reading?
Reading and listening
I haven't yet done any mocks for these two, so all I can say is, just keep redaing over your vocabulary and try to remember it all because in the Higher tier Listening papers (I have done short practise tasks on these) sometimes they tend to speak very fast so you have to know what they are talking about so that you can write down an asnwer as soon as pos.
Hope this helps! :)
make sure you know the vocablary you've been given first of all, i suggest using revision cards for ones you can't remember. also, if you're doing edexcel they've produced a list of the key vocabulary you'll need. obviously you can't just memorise that much vocabulary so practice is the most important thing. Past papers are really useful but they get really boring. If you get bored try reading a french newspaper (preferably one that uses simple language like the french version of the sun) or watch a childrens film in french, you can change the language to frech on most old films- no subtitles! or try listening to a frech radio station online. these techniques will have you preparing for your mocks without you even realising it! :) good luck x
