It can be tricky to get going - try doing some quizzes - Get Revising has thousands. Also, make it sociable - get together with friends and test yourselves - who knows the most?

Vary the ways you learn - make cards and mindmaps, try old exam questions - don't just stare at the page.

Once you're up and running you'll see a bit of progress and getting better is really motivating.

Good luck!

I find powerpoints fun - find pictures, write bullet points and highlight keywords, then watch it back to re-cap the topic. I makes note writing more fun.

Also movie makers or presentations like this which have music and colour.

think about like this the less you revise the less you know, less question you can answer in the exam, the lower the grade you will get and you will fail do you want to fail??? ur choice

My mind at the moment is so split. I want to do well and I don't mind doing homework and school projects. It's when I have to do my own revision that I struggle. It's so difficult but we need to keep going because these grades will determine our futures!! Hope motivation comes your way. (and if you find it, can you send me some?)

put away all electronics that will disturb you such as mobiles xbox

find a nice quiet place and think once the exams are over you can socialise facebook go on xbox as much as you want. (that helps me!)

make your mum look after your phone when you're revising so that you don't get distracted
