I just looked at the UCAS website and they don't actually award any points for D of E awards unfortunately! However, it is something to add to your personal statement for uni which admission officers look at as a non-academic aspect of your statement.

(this is annoying for me too as I did the bronze award but oh well...)

They no longer award points, they used to but sadly no more:/

However there are other advantages of DofE - volounteering, planning, and activity all required for DofE will be looked upon favourably by the uni

but make sure you have time, it will take up your frees and you need that time to revis!
