how many past papers questions should I do now?

I have a geography exam in January and I want to get plenty of practice on past papers, I plan to increase the number of past paper questions I do as I get closer to the exam, but how many should I do now or how long should I spend on past papers each week.

Thanks :)

I think that you should do at three a week now but before you do make sure you revise, try not to use your notes whilst doing the question then get your teacher to mark it. Closer to your actual GCSE exam try and do the whole paper  in the set amount of time, see what you get and try and improve it each time. This seemed to help me. Hope this helped and good luck woth your exams.

Well! It's all down to how much time you have and how much school/college work you get :)

Are you taking other A-Level Subjects?

So yes by all means past papers are a great method of practice, just keep in mind if you're struggling with something. I would aim 2-3 a week were possible

Like a music piece for example, you can't play the whole thing unless each little section is good first. Like wise with past papers, there's no point going start to finish all the time if you know there's one section or area you're not very good at.
Instead, spend 1/2-hour practice on it. Practice questions in your text book or online :)

The really most important thing is don't overwork yourself too early! In the end all your hard work will be wasted

Hope this helps :)

Charlotte Wilding  I'm doing 4 levels but I only have geography exam in January so I'm concentrating on that at the moment, I do get quite a lot of work and I have IT coursework at the moment, I try to do a few hours of revision concentrating on past papers at the weekend and I do other revision in the week.
