How does becoming student ambassador help for applying for universities?

I am at college and there is a chance to become a student ambassador. I want to know if becoming one would be useful when applying for universities. Also, want to know if it is hard.

It gives you chance to share your experience where you helped the school. It gives the university an idea of how you may benefit  for the university. You can include it in your personal statement. Also, excluding universities, it enhances your CV as well as being a role model for young people in your school.

My advice go for it !!!!!!

it will make you stand out of the crowd.. plus unis like people who do things like students ambassador coz it makes u an all rounded person who is not just two of my friends who are in uni.. one got through a better uni coz she was a student ambassador but the other didnt even though she got higher in terms of grade..

plus its good fun !!!!!!!!!

shoooooooot!!!!!! Get da ball wen it's in reach coz wen it's gone everyone'll be pourin' over it an' see da benefits........

u'll hav' a great advantage over lots of people; the uni'll know dat u're not a walkover or one of those typical doormat nerdz who can't do anyfin' xcept care 4 themselves!

even if u're grades aren't all top noch an' all, being an' ambassador will show on your CV not only wat u can do 4 ur self but 4 others as well so i suggest that u grab the' trust me, it's not hard.

coz my sis's one an' all she had ter do was offer herslef 2 da college 2 do some voluntary' being really good at givin' inspirational speeches...believe it or not she got da post an' was even 'promoted' if dat's wat u want 2 call it....sooooooooo.......

Gooooooood luck an' all da best Sarah!!!!!
