How do you stop yourselves from panicking and freaking out?

Every time I start to revise or even think about my exams next week I start shaking and panicking masively. Is it just me or am I being over dramatic? I really can't help it though.

Basically, if in doubt, eat chocolate, or whatever your comfort food is. it helps me, although you may have to do extra excersise if you panic(and thus eat) loadssss

I get that way too. My heart starts beating irregularly and I start hyperventilating. Whenever it starts happening I stop what I'm doing and take a few deep breaths and just think about the fact that panicking and not focusing won't help me do well in my exams.

It's horrible! I don't know what to do. I'm even freaking out now and I've not started revising yet D:

I was really worried at the start of year ten... but now I'm a lot more chill, if everything goes wrong I'll just have to do something else with my life

(((Agent M!!!

Where've you been??)))

Anyway.... just take deep breaths and think about the possible positive outcomes that could come from doing well in the exam :D

But don't freak out and think that if you fail you're screwed...... think positive thoughts ^_^

Listen to really loud music, with a big beat, or something you know all the words to, it means that you wont have to think about it too much. my exams just started and ive ended up listening to a combination of dubstep and movie soundtracks which weirdly works, and definatly EAT CHOCOLATE

Just take one exam at a time, don't think about them all in one go, for example "omg, i've got tlike 5 exams next week!".

Just stay calm and give yourself little rewards after revision! And make time for the things you want to do, like meeting up with a friend, this makes everything seem normal still.

Hope this helps! :)

Go for a jog..this normally helps me to keep calm and carry on. Alternatively, you could just eat loads of comfort food, which also works well. Hope this helps..
