Try to answer questions. It keeps you awake and stops you being picked on when you don't know the answers.

Keep taking notes-by doing this you're constantly reminding yourself of relevant information regarding that subject.

Try to interest yourself in what the teacher is talking about! Not easy with English!

You have to pay attention to what the teacher says and also if it helps, sit away from your friends who destracts you, I did that and I started getting higher grades.

sometimes if you can relate what the teachers says with something that's happened to you it helps because it sticks inn your mind. Try not to dwell on it though because then you might miss what she's saying next! If you can get the teacher to make the lesson more active by playing related quizzes (anything that asks you questions is brilliant) keeps you alert whilst learning and recapping over the lesson!

I try to focus...in maths for instance...on why i'm even doing it. Because it'll help me later on in life!
