I always get confused about how to do it, does anyone know a simple way to do it and remember it?

It depends on the formula as different formulas need rearranging differently depending on what you are trying to find. If you give an example formula or two I (or someone else) may be able to help. :)

for example

pV=nRT (dont worry if you havent seen this before, it's just an example taken from alevel chemistry)

if you had to find n, you would take RT on the other side by dividing on both sides(this is because nRT is all multiplied together so you would have to divide it by RT to be left with just n on that side),so you would get your new rearranged formula of:

pV/RT=n

Hope this helped :)
