how do you know if a moment is clockwise or anti clockwise?

I understand the basic theory of moments but to move on the balancing moments it starts talking about clockwise and anti clockwise, how do i know which ones are which??

anticlockwise is left to right and clockwise is right to left

You choose a direction for yourself usually when working out a moment, but in terms of clockwise and anti-clockwise clockwise is when the force is pulling/ pushing the lamina to turn to the right and vice versa.
