how do you get all the marks out of a question?

I know all the stuff to know but I never get the grades as I can not write the answers how they want it. I understand the questions its just the answers that make me lose the marks

Well seems your in a tough situation as i have the same problem. However if you know the facts it will be easy because you don't actually need to learn anything. what i usually do is that when i know the answer i write down everything linking to it for example:

osmosis: -water potential, partially permeable membrane, high to low water potential, movement of water

or

enzymes: active site, complementary shape, factors affecting it s rate of reaction (temp, inhibitors, cofactors, concentrations etc), primary, secondary, tertairy structure etc

I guess you get the point. When it comes to answering a question just put all you know and by the way i does help if you can write fast therefore you don't spend as much time. I mean this is one of many ideas. This may not work with you but it helps me get full marks in questions!!! Any way gud luk
