I did 5/6 of my a level maths in one year

Top tips

Start revising early, then you'll be prepared for all the exams

Make sure you're ready so you don't have to do resits. People who had to do resits ended up with more exam clashes

Go through LOTS of past papers. A lot of questions are very similar, so you get used to the layout of the questions. When marking, look at the mark schemes carefully so you know exactly what you want.

If you do have to do resits, a lot of topics in earlier units comes up again, so use that to help you.

Finally, don't panic. You have to be good at maths to be allowed to take the course, and it's a great feeling when you realise how much you've learned and how much further ahead you are of the people doing normal maths.
