how do you differentiate x/2?
the power of X is 1, you times the equation by the orginal power
so X/2 x 1 = X/2
now the power is reduced to 0 (power of n is differentiated to n-1)
when any number is to the power of 0 it equals 1
so (X^0)/2 = 1/2
Hope I helped! :)
thnx alot, but then how do you differentiate 2/x?
2/x is 2x^-1, so it is just -2x^-2
