Hey depends on your calc, most people have Casio calcs if ya do most will return to Decimal setting pressing SHIFT then usually 9 which brings up a 'Clear?' menu, select 'Clear Setup' this should work and is the easiest way. If it doesn't work go SHIFT 'Mode' (ie Setup) then select MthI0 this should go back to decimal setting. If not Casio see if any of this still applies otherwise sorry I don't know! Good Luck :)

If you have a casio scientific calculator, then press shift, then press setup and then press the 1 button twice.

If you just want the answer to be given as a decimal instead of a fraction, press the S-D button when you have got the answer on the screen as a fraction.

Hope this helps :) It works on my calculator!
