How did people who sat the AS sociology AQA paper yesterday on family and households find it?

How did you all find the AS sociology AQA paper yesterday?

I thought I did ok with all of the questions, the one on government policies that have improved the position of children was sort of hard, because they didn't let you repeat the stuff they said in the item.

I found the feminist 24 mark question a little hard too, because I had not practised one on feminism and my structure was rubbish :(

Any tips on education exam tomorrow? ***

I thought it wasn't too bad...although my mind went blank on the last question! i could only think of Oakley, Willmott and Young! But the rest went well. Oh well, if i didn't do okay in that, i still have my jan result (one bloody mark ofd a B)

have a cleae structure of your essays if you want to get in the A band, also refer to the item and AO2 every single point you make, as you get 12marks for AO2 and only 8 for A01 (:

my teacher taught us that for the education paper use the theoretical framwork PET which is pratical(time, money)ect, ethical (privacy, concent)and theoretical(positive vs interpretivism)

I've done unit one Family and households in January, can't really remember the date, I do recall one of the 2 or 4 mark questions asking what a 'duel burden' is and one of the 24 mark questions was about examining how policies affect family size. I THINK I done okay, I went according to the time, I had JUST enough time for both essays, I really do hope that the grade boundaries are considerately low... This is my first ever A level exam and I've never studied sociology as a GCSE :/
