Who did the characters and voice section and what did you do?
I did and I think I did pretty well. I did question 2 and I did ozymandias with the river god. I was so pleased as I know these 2 poems well and I was saying before the exam, I really want a question on ozymandias and power and I was so pleased when I saw this question. I also thorught the unseen poem was quite easy but i didn't write as much for that.
I did :) i chose ozymandias and les grands seigneurs - it was abit random but power is a strong theme, i was literally SO happy with the q, because like Thegirlwhoknewtoomuch i hoped it would be :D the unseen poem was also very good but i felt like i could have maybe added more points but oh well! hopefully well all get good :D
I did Ozymandias and Medusa but I thought the unseen poem was a bit rubbish really, I just didn't know what to write about :/ I hope I did well in it...
what was the unseen poem? :)
a poem called 'children in wartime' by isobel thrilling...well it was in the AQA exam...i am not sure which exam board we r talking about here :?
I was doing the relationship section and compared 'Quicdraw' to 'To his coy mistress' and I think it went well. I loved the unseem poem, and rechognised the enjambment and how that signifies chaos and panic. Good times :D
i did the relationship section and compared quickdraw and the manhunt!
any1 do place poetry>
i did the conflict section!!!
Relationships- Quickdraw and The Manhunt, really didnt like the unseen poem :L i ran out of time :(
I got this paper as a mock today. Did the relationships cluster and I compared Quickdraw to Ghazal. I think it went pretty well. Spent 30ish mins on the unseen question. I focused mainly on the title and the end, (sky falling quote) and exhausted the interpretations for it I said it represented the child's universe collapsing around them. Also made a point about how the child had lost faith in God/ dreams were broken. Did anyone else get the God point??
