I do biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further maths and History and i love History! it makes a nice change from my other subjects and i find the content really interesting. I enjoyed it at GSCE but i much prefer A level because you go into topics in more detail. That being said it is a difficult subject and does require you to spend significant chunks of time at home writing essays ect. but i'd say it's worth it :) hope this helps x

Yes a lot of essay writing - i did it for 3 weeks and we did like 5 essays. If your school gives regular hw most will be essay based and also any past papers contain essays.

It depends on what you are taking it with. I enjoyed it at GCSE but i dropped it after 3 weeks at a level. It was too much work with my other subjects (biology, chemistry and phsyics). I found it a little boring since there was so much work - essays, lots of content to learn. I didn;t enjoy it at all, but some people i know love it. It is very demanding though.

NO it would be the worst subject to pick becuase the sources questions have a different way of answering that can be an issue to a lot of people
