Help with the revision timetable?

Two quick questions:-

~What times do you attach to each of the six time scales? So what time is 'late AM' for you, for example?

~How long do you revise for in each revision time slot?

i start with times at 9:oo in the morning and then have the early PM one starting at 1:30 because of the exam times.

The others i have:

11 as Later Am,

3:30 as Later PM,

5:30 as Early Eve and

7:30 as Later Eve

1)  I did Late AM as morning, nearly afternoon and then early PM as afternoon lunchtime. Early eve is like 4pm-5pm and late eve 6/7pm onwards.

2)  I normally do each slot as 1h30mins - 2hours

Studies have shown, and as I have also discovered myself, that it is impossible to take in too much information in one long go. So, as :) PurpleJaguar (: suggested that (s)he would do each slot at 1 hr 30 mins - 2 hrs, I would divide that up into 30 mins and then a 15 mins break, leaving an hour here or there for lunch, dinner and general relaxation (playing on the Wii for example). As for the division of the revision time table, I do pretty much similar to Megan.

i have each slot as 1hr 30mins (around-ish) it sounds like sufficient time to get some revision done in each topic...

i start around like 9:30am for the morning revision sessions...and around like 4:30-5:00pm for the evening sessions...

You should always revise for at least 20 mins as then you can take it in, my advice is do half an hour then take a break, have a snack or walk about then go back and do another subject, keep alternating like this and you'll be forced to recall knowledge each time. But, if your tired or have had an exam one day then don't force yourself to revise, it won't help at all!
