Hi everyone, I want some tips on eating healthily and I assumed that you guys would be the best to ask since I know you do about this stuff in food. I don't want to follow a set diet, just want a few general tips on healthy eating and things like that. Would appreiciate anyhting I can get at the minute. Thanks :) x

A healthy eating diet should comprise equal proportion of protein, carbohydrates, fats and vitamins. Each is essential to the body, but excess of any can be harmful. Thus one should have a balance diet. The calorie consumption should be between 1500-2000 calories depending upon the region where you reside (Places like Antarctica requires 5000 calories minimum to survive the cold). Meat and meat products are said to be best providers of protein and fats, while vegetables and fruits are said to be best providers of vitamins and acids such as citrus acids etc.
