I know that the worlds population is rising, but maybe a long time ago had the worlds population decreased?

i'm not sure, i think it had been stable for a while then started to rise in the 19th century. It could decrease in certain countries in the future due to the ageing population of many medc's, where death rate is higher than birthrate creating a natural decrease instead of a natural increase.

Thanks Thegirlwhoknewtoomuch :):)

I've found out the answer to the question, it is that; population hasnt always increased so fast in the early 1900's it grew very slowly, then at about 1965 it grew to about 3billion and less than 30years later the population almost doubled. Now, the rate of population growth in the world is 1billion every 15years
