Now, I am doing a general studies exam today, however, I am getting the benefit of the UCAS points in it, however why do schools and institutions not give resources or revision tips for these subjects?

general studies isn't taken by many universities as a subject therefore isn't seen as important
Anything can come up, anything at all so it's very difficult to revise for - best thing you can do is just look through past papers and keep up to date on global issues
If you do well in general studies it demonstrates you are an all round intelligent individual so it's worth trying hard in it:)
