Hi, i am currently in Yr.9 and choosing GCSE choices for next year. I have to choose a language between Spanish, French and German :L I've never done any of these languages before so which one would be the best for me? any ideas? Thank you :) xxxx
if uve neva done these subs it will be hard in yr10 and yr11 i took french in yr10 and dropped it cuz i diddnt stand a word even though i did really good in the previous years anyway i think you should do spanish not because its easy but the some of the population speaks spannish:)
I did spanish and I found it easier than I expected, I really enjoyed it. Vamos hace espanol!
well choose the language that interests you most.. personally i think its quite stupid to be choosing a language and learning it in 2 years.. but i would say choose either spanish or german.. coz french is quite hard.. but its your choice.. as it will affect you the most
good luck !
i know .. but i have 2 choose one
at the moment what do you really want to do ?
do you have any older siblings or cousins who may have studied either of these languages, because you might want to do the same as you can ask them for help ?
sorry lol.. no i dont really have any relatives hoo choose langs
then i guess just choose the language u really want to do :)
all i can tell u from my knowledge is that spanish is easier than french but thats my opinion some might think different.. and ive never studied german or have any idea about it so cant help much there..
lyk me.. my brothers do spanish so if i could i would do spanish as i can ask them for help :)
yeh... well i did a bit of french in primary so i remember some stuff like hello, how are you , excuse me , thankyou etc.. so yeh
u may drop it half way cause i have heard that french is quite hard...i do german....i find it alright...it depends what u prefer really....
Hi em... prabhi.. do u find german similar 2 english?
Choose the language you think will be most useful to you for example if you're most likely to go on holiday to France then choose French, or if you would like to visit that particular country then choose that language. It'll probably quite challenging to do a GCSE exam in a language you haven't even learnt yet. Is it compulsory to choose a language or can you persuade your teacher to choose something else that you know more about?
thankyou very much everyone. Thanks furuba fan i took your advice and told my new school that i hadnt done a language so they are going to let me off !! thanks everyone!!! ***
