There was loads of flooding near me. The fields round the castle flooded so the castle had a moat again. The ford flooded and the lake in the park flooded as well. I have never seen it that bad near me before!!

Live in Devon which seems to be at the brunt of the flooding, apart from torrential raining, no flooding. Seems like Exeter is pretty bad though!

my grandparents live in exeter, but likely not near the river exe, which i have seen flooded a few years ago, it flooded a play area near their house all you could see was the top of the swings, climbing frames etc. a ford near me which is usually a trickle is 3 feet deep and rising, a car got stuck and was filling with water, luckily they were towed out, but that seriously scares me.

we went for a walk on sunday in the woods near our river and we didn't get that far as the river had flooded the path, well the path was a river, it was about 2 feet deep, some people ahead of us crossed over it by making a bridge out of trees but we didn't want to risk it. i live on a hill, but i would hate to live in a valley or near a river, i will buy a house away from any floodplains in the future.

yeah well to many houses are built on floodplains and people wonder why so much damage has happened, not blameing the owners of houses in this area of course, just the people who build them there.

it's been really windy where i am as well, bridges have been closed over the river tamar, due to flooding and wind speeds.
