I have C2 and English lit yeah. But for English our two books are About A Boy and An Inspector Calls. Found out today we could have done Othello or Much Ado instead, would have definitely preferred that so not happy. But I think I'll do okay in Chem, hopefully anyway. English should be okay too, probably better than C2 cause you can ramble and make it up more for English ;) how about you?

Did An Inspector Calls and To Kill A Mockingbird Tuesday, Biology B2 + 3 Mon, Poetry 'Conflict' cluster tomorrow with Chemistry C3. If anyone is struggling with the conflict poetry here is a brilliant resource: http://getrevising.co.uk/resources/aqa_anthology_conflict

(not mine) but it goes through all the poems really well and helps to get a firm grip on them.

Could you please tell me what the questions on Inspector Calls were?

well, I did the Higher tier paper, there were two options:

something like: "what is the significance of the Inspector...Priestleys' purpose"... can't really remember, I did this one, and the other was an extract from the start of the book on the stage directions can't really remember what that was asking. "why does he use the lighting etc.. in this way" I think.

Ahh okay, thankyou :) was hoping to have a character like Mr Birling or Sheila; I find them both much easier to write about. I'll have another quick look at stage directions and things tonight then.

Well guys, how did it go? I did character and voice question 1, and I compared Checking Out Me History to Brendon Gallacher; d'you reckon that'll be okay? I was fine with the unseen... I think.

Chemistry was fine, and when I opened the paper relief hit me like a brick wall - so much so that by the end of the paper I was smiling! Hopefully it was fine, fingers crossed.

How did you all feel about the exams? x

I found the chemistry alright yeah, although we hadn't done anything on paper chromatography in two years! So yeah I struggled with that question a little but overall it could have been a lot worse.
As for the English, we did about a boy and an inspector calls, and I spent a while debating over which questions to choose but hopefully that went alright too :)
