Electromagnets (AS/A level)

Can someone please explain how to use the equation for the strength of an electromagnet??? Being in year 11, I was completely baffled when my teacher gave me this:
ß=µ˳nI
Please explain in simple terms!
Thank you in advance.

the electromagnet is a simple invention that requires one to pump electricity through wire to generate enough energy to make the wire get hot. the hot wire causes the wire to melt to other object making the apprearence of them "sticking together". the equation is just a clever ruse just to baffle people away from physics. these give higher paid jobs
