Does anyone know what i could use as an example of the hedonic calculus being impractical when in practice?
I have an exmple for the disadvantage of the greatest happiness principle...
Utilitarianism seeks to promote the greatest happiness, is happiness the most important thing when making a decision? Situation ethics would disagree and argue agape is of greater importance. For example you may change your granddads will to get more money so you can be happier even though many would see this as an immoral act as it is not the most loving thing to do.
And i need something like this for the hedonic calculus, Thnkyou for any help :)
