Does anyone know how best to categorise and learn quotes from the A2 Lit paper on Dr Faustus and The Pardoner's Tales - I'm finding it impossible!

If you are doing these texts to could you just tell me how you find it easiest to learn these quotes and what you're revising specifically etc?

I'm only just starting my revision but the exams on the 20th June so I'm alright for time. Just want to get revision off the ground and to avoid sitting there for ages wondering where to start!

I am not doing these texts, I am doing Macbeth, Wuthering Heights and Frankenstein, but my teacher suggested that we separate everything into gothic elements/themes, and look for the main chapters that focus on said elements; re-read them and pick out important quotes (she said it doesn't necessarily have to be a long sentence, it could just as well be two words, but relevant and important); write them down, colour code if you will; and just keep memorising, on bus journeys, when you're being idle, and pretty much at all times.

Hope this helps.
