It's incredibly frustrating, I continuously get 5 outa 12 marks on the 12 mark essay question for edexcel psychology and it's really bringing my grade down. I just wondered if anyone has a plan which outlines exactly what they examiners are looking for because obv i'm missing something big. thank you!

All psychology essays are structured the same. 6marks for A01 which is outlining the study(so the aim, method, findings and conclusion), and 6marks for A02 which is your evaluation points. Make sure you balance your evaluation and try starting with the strengths of the study and then the weaknesses. If you keep this structure in your mind you will see a great improvement. As long as you know the studies, you will be able to evaluate the study naturally.

Hope this helps :)

usually essays are titiled 'discuss' which means describe and evaluate. what i do is concentrate on the describe first, so i describe the method  briefly and  the findings of each study one paragraph for each study then the second half of the essay i evaluate each study in the same order as i described the studies. when evaluating try to say 'this shows that...' i don't usually include a conclusion but you could if you want, i will upload an essay i did that good marks t show what i mean.
