I guess for history it's always the case that you need to have a passion for it, otherwise the dates and people and concepts can get too much! I'm doing GCSE History as well and I enjoy History revision because I don't just use one resource. For example I make notes on index cards, using colour to colour code things. I also make mind-maps (if you are a visual learner, then these really help :))

Also, on BBC Bitesize they have videos where they explain topics so they are pretty useful. I'm doing Medicine Through Time and Germany 1919-1945 and the videos on bitesize are useful to double check you know stuff. On bitesize there is this game called 'Spherox' or something and they have a new history version, there are loads of questions on there! Plus, it's a game so hopefully you won't get bored too easily, you can choose the topics that you are doing and they will give you questions accordingly.

What else...watch videos if they help, the great thing about history is watching videos can actually help you to learn brand new things because there are so many things that you could write in the exam. Make timelines if you're having trouble remembering dates.

Don't stress yourself out, the exam is pretty close but as long as you don't start panicking you should get a decent amount of revision done.

Good luck ^_^
