!!!!! Do you need to get an A * on both of these maths papers to get an A* or do the marks just add up to an A* !!!!!!!!!!!

I am doing the edexcel maths gcse linear paper

For example i got a couple marks off an A* today on the non clac but made up for my loss on the the clac paper. well i definitely get an A*

Heyy Unknown,

I think it as to add up to an A* because I think it runs by your over all percentage from the two papers.

Generally 170+ from both papers to get A* :D

You add up your marks overall - you could get all A's - at the top of the grade boundary and still get an A* overall - it all depends on the mark scheme to be honest but it all evens out and with your marks already you should do very well! :)
