Did anyone do the AQA spanish AS exam today? (14th may)

Showing 1 to 7 of 7

Just wondering how everyone found it? :)

I didn't find the listening too bad - the writing to do with the soap was tricky - I thought there were more than 7 "true answers"!  I found the writing pretty hard, but then it is my weak point.  I did the sports question.  Anyone want to go over what they put as their answers?

I did the exam today, I didn't find it too bad although I didn't get chance to look through my answers at the end :/ I found the soap question quite difficult too, in the sense that I had too many letters that I thought were true.

I did the sports question too! Started to regret it halfway through... wish I'd done the new technology one!

I thought the one about Carolina and Adele was a bit strange, for the last few questions like did one of the them had more luck in the lives, and one was more successful?

I chose the technology one, I was pretty confident with technology since it was my nominated topic for the speaking! I thought that question was confusing, I put F or N for the one about them being more successful, I based this on them saying that they both had families etc and I don't think it mentioned it really, although I can't quite remember! I thought the grammar question 9 section was ok, I know I made a mistake on the first one, was having an internal debate for about 10 minutes trying to decide if I should use the infinitive or gerrund! I used the gerrund in the end, even though I thought that inf always follows en but ah well!

I'm more confident with it as well but I was going with the strategic route after reading many examiner's notes which mostly say that the essays which less people do are often better done and I thought less people would do the sport but really wish I hadn't!

Yeah I think I did the same about the friendship one but I think I ended up with 4 trues, 3 falses and 2 not givens???

Omg same! The french side of me kept trying to take over! The exercise before that one, the gap fill about motorcycling, confused me and bit with the first one, if you go to Bolivia you must..? And the last one about not keeping his mother's promise or something?!

I should probably stop analysing the exam and get on with the rest of my revision.. :L

Good luck in the rest of your exams :)
