A brief guide to using our Character Analysis table
What are Macbeth or Hamlet like? Why are they such important figures?
A key aspect of studying any play or novel is to develop a detailed understanding of the main characters (and some minor ones too) – their personality, motivations, actions, role in the text and the ways they change throughout the book or play. It’s useful to know some of the things they say (quotations) and the key scenes in which they play a part.
We’ve created a simple table to help you analyse a character.
Once it’s complete, subscribers can test themselves on its content.
