Can you help me with this question? 'No matter how much it changes and varies from place to place, people always need religion.' To what extent do sociological arguments and evidence support this view' (33 marks)

I have some ideas but I don't really know what the hell to right. My teacher isn't exactly brilliant and to be honest I think she doesn't have as much of a more clue than I do. I really would do it all myself but I'm completely stuck and I'm ill which means I really cannot think properly. I just want some points of what to include and possibly a starting paragraph, even though it isn't necessary it would just help me as my head is pounding.. You don't understand how pleased I will be if someone can help me. I just really cannot be bothered to do this at the moment due to my terrible cold :( thanks in advance to anyone that does manage to help :)

Oh my god I did this question in class... You will need to relate to the nature and nurture bit of this... For example the identical twins I can't remember what it was called but it was something about them being separated from birth and something about having the same name with different spelling... Having the same beliefs even through being bought up in different cultures... And people like tony mobley from the independent "born to kill" suggesting he was a criminal through his genes..... To genetics you can use
instincts
Genetic coding
Basic needs

For culture you can use
Freak children- who lack in primary socialisation
Cultural diversity- why doesn't everyone behave the same

And the question I had was "children require only culture to become fully human, genes mean nothing" how far do you agree with this statement

Use sociologists to get extra points and books
One reference I can give you is maclnnes 1998 genes vs culture who said depends on culture why certain genders are made or told to do things it doesn't come from your genes

You can start off by the definition to nature and nauture

Then go into either of one them and link to the question

Then the other one and remember to link
In conclusion what you think which side you

Before conclusion you might what to find something which is in between nature and nurture

See how my question in a way relates to your question... You may know it as genetics and culture
