Currently doing 4 As levels, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and RS. Seriously considering dropping RS. Would I still be able to get into Medicine or Pharmacy with 3 As or should I carry on with RS up until January?

It depends what unis you are interested in as some want 3 Alevels and a 4th AS at a certain grade. Check on the uni websites and if you are still not sure, you can always email the admissions tutors.
Hope this helps

Medicine doesn't discriminate against the number of a levels you do as long as you get the grades at the end of the day they want 3 A's at minimum it wont give you any advantages if your doing 4 or 5 a levels. However some uni's consider A* grades more highly where as others aren't too bothered, or so they say. My advice to you is that you go to univeristy open days and attend the medicine talk, they can tell you everything you need to know. Good luck in whatever you choose.
If you get the good A level results (A*s and As) and have a good personal statement they will probably not mind
Try get the best grade you can, even if you drop it, it will look better to have a higher grade
Have you also looked at getting work experience during the summer? good work experience can make you stand out and be chosen over that candidate with 4 a levels. try get 3 weeks or more on different wards and in different departments:)
