Can you change the teir of your exam on the day?

I really let myself down on units 1&2 science (AQA) last time and I came out with B's C's and D's. I'm resitting them again and doing unit 3 this month. My predicted grades are A's and I know I can get them, I just didn't try last time. But my school have put me in for foundation and I'm so angry/upset. When I asked them, they said I can swap on the day but I'm still so worried I wont be able to then wont get the grades I need/want. Has anyone ever swapped?

Hi there!

Don't be upset or angry Hannah, there's time left!
Yeah, i think just in-case you should go to the Examiner lady or someone in charge of exam entries..Because i know in my school we can go to her and discuss tiers of entry.
She might ask you for approval form your teacher(s), but since you're predicted grades are A's, i think you should go to the exam lady and ask her and explain your situation!

I hope you do well in your exams!
Best of luck! (:

Don't worry ! you're not officially set in a tier (that's why teachers always preach "remember to check the side of the paper you're on") - i was set foundation for biology and (not on purpose) not the higher but came out with an A so do whatever you feel like on the day- saying that my friend was on foundation exams but due to ISAs etc walked away with a B (down to getting a D on one unit otherwise it could have been an A)

All is not lost

Good luck
