post it notes around the house really helped me, dont let yourself do what it is you want until you get the answer right! i put one outside my bathroom and i wouldnt let myself use the toilet until i got the answer right, you'll be surprised how quickly you learn things when you're desperate for the loo! :L

Make yourself question and answer cards with the key points that you're finding it hard to remember - do these every night or something on top of your other revision. It will get you to think about things instead of just writing down notes. I also find that mindmaps help with key points on - there's no point in writing out the whole textbook :)

my teacher makes us A3 mind-maps sheets with boxes to fill in summarize each booklet that we do :) it really helps to cut down the revision list and you actually learn some stuff while you're filling it in :)

  • Go to after school revision classes at your school (if you have any).
  • Revise at least half an hour at home.
  • Revise on the bits you're not so good at.
  • Ask your teacher (or even your parents or mates) for help.
  • Revise from revision books - plenty of good ones out there!
  • Past papers to help on your bad areas.
  • And don't forget the resources on this website! :)

i just read through the revision book and make sure i understand everything.. then answer summary questions and applications questions. then just do loads of past papers and if you still don't remember or understand some things then go back to them.. and do what you have to do to remember/understand it.
not sure if it will help you but it worked for me :) goodluck!

i do paspt apapers and mark them with my dad.  I learn alot because he puts in practical examples and creates some of his own exam style questions. Another way to revise is to teach someeelse the opic and see if they can test u on it ** <3 if anyone needs my help then mail me on [email protected] **

this is my way of getting good grades:

  • memorize the key points in your cgp extension science revision guide
  • go through as much passpapers as you can (trust me they HELP!) : www.sciencepass.com
  • if you cant do some questions, see the answers in the mark scheme

there are 4 b3 passpapers on that website, go through all of them because im 100% sure a few questions from previous papers will come up with little changes in wording or format

I suggest you spend atleast 1 hour 30 minutes on bio, especially if you have AQA exam board, as you have to be very specific and concise :L
