Are these good A-levels to take?

I'm thinking of taking maths, economics, geography and sociology. They will all be 2 yr courses. Anyone have advice about these subjects?

im still deciding on my a-level subjects.. one tip my head of year told me.. was to work backwards..

so make a list of possible careers your interested this could be vague e.g. medicine  or specific e.g. nurse.

then see what sort of degree you need in order to pursue the career

then see what subjects u need to study at a-level in order to be able to do that degree

then finally read the information about thos subjects and see if you really want to do them or not

hope that helps..

your subjects are quite good though to get you a place in different areas

anyways what are you planning to do afterwards???

Maths is a really strong a level and this could secure you places in various courses at uni level

What do you want to study? All good subjects although some unis view sociology as a "soft" subject but it entirely depends on where you want to apply and for what subject :)

My friend is doing economics and she says it's quite hard at the moment and there's quite a bit of work too if this is of any help!
