This is topic that I find really hard. I find it hard to see the difference between a convex and concave mirror and lens. If anyone can help me or attach some resources, please do so.
Convex belches outwards, like you eye.
I remember concave because the mirror caves into itself XD. I.e. it's like you breathing in, and your stomach goes in, if ya get meh :L
it is really confusing, a convex mirror (like Zak said) is outwards and diverges the rays (produces a virtual image), whereas a concave mirror is like a cave and converges the rays!
lens are different though, a convex lens converges the rays but a concave mirror diverges the rays!
it took me a while to understand them too. Just keep going over them and you'll do fine, good luck!x x
