I know I should know this by now, but I have past papers from different years and they're different to some that we've been given in college.. and I heard they're changed. does anyone know this year's set up of questions? :s

I'm not sure what board those question marks are in the first reply but for crime and deviance aqa- the one tuesday coming up is two 21mark questions based on crime and deviance with items, one 15mark for methods in context(linked to crime and deviance) and ending with a 33mark question on theory and methods

Dreading it since it sounds horrible but i think its better than it was set out the previous years, hope this helps(:

It has and yeah it was for AQA Crime and Deviance.. I am really dreading it - I have two exams on the same day and I've revised more for the other subject than this.. and I also had the beliefs resit that also took up a lot of my revision time :( I feel like I know nothing about Crime and Deviance anymore.. panicking

3 exams in one day that must be pure pressure, I've got one the day before and hardly through the content on that let alone crime and deviance- then another on Friday which haven't even touched! Dying of stress- I did exactly the same thing wasting all my revision time on the beliefs exam and another one that day so I've forgotten absolutely everything else.

I think as long as there's summaries done of the theories/ social groups and the other **** they might put in like suicide/social control then the first two essays should be alright. The 3rd can be blagged just by skimming over advantages and disadvantages and the big one is just death...and will end up making it up from any inch of knowledge i can possibly remember that seems to relate. That's my strategy anyway

omg that's actually a good way I guess, coz I didnt know how to go about the 33marker, but think i might steal your idea of having advantages and disadvantages of whatever the question will be about.. my other problem is remembering what certain theorists say/support/claim.. what could you say about social control ? :/
