I hoping to apply for Maths at UCL and other London unis this year and I was wandering what would make a good CV and application, like what work experience would I need etc.

I would like to apply to UCL or Kings college in one/two years time (i'm doing AS levels now).

A good CV would include your work experience - which for maths could be helping out in your school's maths/science departments, doing work experience in a bank, shop or something which handles money, doing work experience with a business, anything like that really. MAths is a hard one to do work experience for though.

Your CV should also include some of your hobbies, your qualities, your grades and also any additional information you feel is neccessary. Write on maybe competitions in maths - if you did any - I did my school's maths challenge for 4 years so i might put that down on my CV. Things that make you stand out are best - especially if they are related to your subject choice.
