anyone know the best way to know which integration method for C4 to use if they don't specify in the question?

If a suitable subsitution isn't given by the question then it's likely you'll need to use integration by parts or just inspection i.e. just looking at it and figuring out what the integrand must be; the best example of this is when you're faced with something of the form f'(x)/f(x), which integrates to ln(f(x)). Make sure you remember all your identities so you can deal with things like (tanx)^2 and (sinx)^2 etc.
